PLCC MESSAGE
Putnam
Lake is the single most important asset to our community. Its natural beauty
enhances both our property values and our quality of life. The Putnam Lake Community
Council is the custodian of the lake and it's surrounding beaches and parklands.
I would like to encourage all residents to join the PLCC and help maintain and
enhance Putnam Lake.
The PLCC operates exclusively from revenue generated from membership dues. Taxes,
insurance and lifeguards account for over two-thirds of our current budget.
That doesn't leave much. The PLCC board of directors would like to provide our
members with more and better services as well as improvements to our beaches
and parklands. It is with this in mind that one of our continuing goals in the
PLCC is to increase our membership (and the revenue it generates). We will once
again have a membership table at the market on weekends and monthly membership
meetings.
